Proof Reading Service

This service is more in-depth and we go through the manuscript and check for typos, punctuation, spelling and word usage. This is something which you may feel that you have already done, or you have had a friend do for you. However, it is so easy to miss obvious mistakes, and the hardest thing to do is to proof-read your own work, as your brain will read what you want it to say, not necessarily what you have written.

This is an important step, as whether you are hoping to send your work to a literary agent, publisher, or go it alone and self-publish, it is important to present it as honed and polished as possible. No-one will be enthused about your project if it is presented with glaring typos and errors.

A Copy-typing from handwritten manuscript service is available, but would be charged on an hourly rate after assessment.

Accepted Submissions

For all submissions accepted, please submit as follows:-

Word (or compatible format), 12pt font size, preferably Times New Roman or similar.
Double line spacing
How many pages?
What is the word count?

If you are submitting a manuscript ready printed or typed out, then please use the same formatting as above.
